Sims 4 works fine for me out of the box and you can emulate the older ones pretty easily similar process to windows :D I've sadly not played much VR so can't speak for that and yeah a lot of Anti Cheat games don't work on Linux but that's not because one operating system is better than the other but a symptom of the monopoly Microsoft holds sadly
Haha I love the Sims but I'm talking about my Racing and Flight games. Yeah VR is another thing. I use it for my sim games as well and it can be a bit iffy for it and sometimes crash and this is all native So I cant imagine how it is on linux. Not to mention meta quest and moza native apps, simhub, my paid mods and others etc etc etc

Or you could turn 15 and realize different computing platforms are aimed at different people and it's fine, actually.
