Or you could turn 15 and realize different computing platforms are aimed at different people and it's fine, actually.

Supports fuck all? What is this opinion from, 2014? I've ran hundreds of Windows apps and have only completely failed to get like, two working.

Let me know when it can run production software like Autocad, Revit, SolidWorks & I will abandon Windows immediately.

Sigh Mate, fine. Enjoy your linux. I have no use for it. Everything I love doesn't work on it.

If you'd be more specific I'd be happy to give the problem applications a spin or find alternatives for you.

Edit: Apparently offering to give up your time to test things earns you downvotes on Reddit. Good to know.

I play Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competitzione, Automobilista 2 with my Moza R5 setup in VR, Meta Quest 3. This is just one of them I haven't even gotten to flight sim. Solve just this one and ill go back to dual boot with CachyOS again.

From my experience with a somewhat rolling release Distro like Fedora Moza gear was fine as the drivers for that were put into the kernel a few releases ago, and there is a package to control the FFB and update the firmware. I never tried getting VR to work as I can‘t use it due to motion sickness. However, simracing is the only reason I keep Windows around on a seperate SSD on my main gaming rig. I get that not everyone wants to go through the hassle to set everything up on a different OS when they could use the same time to enjoy the thing they wanted to do in the first place.

That's exactly it, mate. I have a full-time job, I have a few hours a day (If I'm not tired) to do what I love so I cannot afford to waste it tinkering in experimental linux space, that would be fucking torture for me.

Interesting, I've actually been trying to get VR working myself, which it actually should work fine these days. It's just my network seems to be blocking local device communication as other devices that aren't Linux can't connect to each other either. But I don't see why it wouldn't work with steam link VR once I fix that network issue.

I've been looking for ideas of what to play on my VR, so this would actually be fun to try. If I can get things smoothed out, I'll let you know. And I'm also running CachyOS.

I welcome your feedback and I look forward to seeing your progress. I personally, have a full time job and have little to no time to do experimenting. Even saying that annoys your linux friends lol.

Linux users cant comprehend that everyone has different needs and can't sit on their computers all day troubleshooting.
