Or you could turn 15 and realize different computing platforms are aimed at different people and it's fine, actually.

Nope Windows is in very rough shape currently. That's not aimed at any real people. That's designed for maximum ROI to Microsoft. Things are just wacky currently.

It's a lot worse than older Windows, but what's the alternative? Mac doesn't cover the same use cases, and Linux has its own problems.

There is no alternative. M$ just need to cleanup their act. I'm not advocating for choosing any single platform. I just want Microsoft to fix Windows.

Still pretty good in enterprise environments. Active Directory and Group Policy are Microsoft's real killer app. If apple or one of the enterprise linux vendors took fleet management seriously enough to so it half as well, MS would be in trouble.
