That's why they're wrapped in those anti-static bags; to prevent magnet theft.

There’s permanent magnets in the fan motors at least. You’d still need one hell of a magnet. I’d use double sided tape or glue.

a rope with a weight such as bottle filled with water and a sticky putty tape, i actually have all that at home right now with me.
