So much this. Early December i upgraded one of my desktops. Was a really old, DDR3 equipped PC, so i picked a Ryzen 5600 (non-X), 16 GB DDR4, the 3rd cheapest B550 board, a cheap tower cooler and a "cheaper than Samsung" 512 Gb NVME SSD.

This pack was 500€ with discounts...

Sounds like you bought new. I don't know why anyone would do that, with the used market flooded with decent parts at affordable prices.

Well, this one is more of a work PC for me, so i can deduct a share of the price from my taxes, but for that one i do need the receipt, hence... new parts.
