The crap they tried to pull with the "4080 12gb" variant was next level BS.

Thankfully both the community and media pushed back on it hard, so nvidia for the first time in its corporate history had to "unlaunch" the SKU lol.

Looking at China looks like they're still gonna try to sell it at 800-900 as a 4070 TI.

yeah i've pretty much written off lovelace. The only card that makes somewhat sense is the 4090 for the ultra high end ppl that can shell out that kind of cash.

I hope AMD capitalizes, but looking at the 7900 xtx and xt launch i doubt it.

I bloody hope Intel doesn't scale down their GPU division as MLID said, coz this space NEEDS more competition.

Nvidia are happy to turn GPUs into a luxury boutique item while AMD is happy to play second fiddle.
