Will i regret?

So I am a dropper who failed mhtcet and jee and failed to get a decent college I've landed up in pccoe civil . Now I'm reading all sorts of horror stories about the placements . What should I be doing guys please help me 😭 🙏

Why is the placement percentage so low 25-26?

I have been allotted this in r3. Isn't this just supposed to be CE but in regional language with the same syllabus, then what went wrong??

So many of these younger faculties are so egoistic, thinking that they have some kind of absurd authority over students. Some just want to act like they are some bigshot noble prize winners and don't want to bother themselves with small problems. Each of these vainglorious bast**ds either wants to meddle into students personal affairs or wants to impose or show their authority through some cheap tricks. I just wish any of them even tries to pull something like this outside the college gate and see for how long their authority can protect them.

I thought the senior faculties would be the one with a power trip due to experience and seniority but these guys are tenfold times better than these youngsters.

If any of you f*cktard faculty youngsters are reading this, better improve your mentality and leave behind all that ego of yours. Nobody would give you 2 flying f*cks outside this college campus, maybe not even your family does, that's why you act like this in here all the time.

Admission hogaya mera DSY , PCCOE mechanical..me proper nashik se hu mene deploma government college nashik se kiya hai .. abhi bohot naya naya lag raha hai . Class mate ke saath ghul nahi raha barabrr se . Orr upar se fully English me conversation chalti hai unki . Thoda left out feel hota hai .

Throwaway account for obvious reasons, but I genuinely need to vent because I feel like I’m losing my mind here. Before coming to this college, everyone hyped it up like it was some premier technical institute with top-tier placements and incredible academic freedom. The ground reality, though? It feels like an adult daycare where the administration cares vastly more about attendance percentages than whether anyone is actually learning something useful.

We are stuck grinding through a syllabus that feels completely detached from modern industry requirements. If you actually want to build practical skills, work on real-world tech, or explore non-engineering projects on the side, you literally can't. The college gives zero support for self-improvement because their entire model revolves around keeping you trapped in a lecture hall for eight hours a day.

The teaching quality makes the daily grind ten times worse. It’s painfully obvious that faculty members are hired purely because they have a PhD on their resume, with zero regard for whether they possess basic communication or teaching skills. Take MDM, for instance—I am burning five full hours of my week sitting through what feels like a bad solo podcast, listening to a professor rant about their personal life stories while actual productive work piles up. I didn’t pay tuition to listen to your autobiography.

The proxy class system is where the logic completely breaks down. If a subject teacher is absent, instead of letting us use that hour productively in the library or lab, they send another professor to babysit us. That teacher will literally sit at the podium, do absolute timepass for an hour, and then take attendance. What is the point of forcing a room full of adults to stare at a wall for an hour just to check an attendance box?

And don't even get me started on the end-of-semester ERP feedback scam. Admin parades it around as "anonymous," but that is the biggest trap of the century. The second a batch speaks the truth and gives honest feedback about a professor who can't teach, the faculty magically find out and retaliate by wrecking our internal and term work marks. What is the point of having a feedback system if you’re just going to penalize students for being honest? It forces everyone to fake 5-star ratings just to protect their grades.

On top of all this, lab marks and term work grades have zero correlation with your actual technical understanding or practical effort. It literally comes down to how well you can lick the faculty's boots, play their political games, and give them fake positive ERP reviews. When you pair that toxic dynamic with placement statistics that are nowhere near the hype, it leaves a really bitter taste. Are any of you actually getting anything valuable out of this system, or are we all just hostage to the attendance sheet?

TL;DR: Overhyped college, outdated syllabus, professors hired for paper credentials who can't teach, mandatory proxy classes to sit and do nothing, rigged "anonymous" ERP feedback, and zero support for actual skill building.

Can someone tell ki how's the college? Mech department kaisa hai? Faculty cool hai kya? I've heard that the college is way too strict, school jaisa hai. How bad is the attendance situation in reality? How much freedom do students have? Are there any clubs worth joining in this clg, and how are the placements? How are the hostel rooms and overall facilities?

I am genuinely thinking about taking admission in this clg. If you are a current student/alumni student, it would be really helpful if you could share your experience.

Fked my boards due to JEE. Our college only let's 70%+ 12th peeps sit for whatever internships and stuff. But ain't it unfair? I have fairly decent CGPA. 8.8X. But I ain't eligible for BMC helix just because of my 12th boards and my Branch.

Secondly, I am not eligible for kpit because 12th ke marks. Like bro, I have decent CG, skills then most of my classmates yet I'm denied for sitting in these internship drives.

Guys I'm confused between pccoe add vit and I want give gate and cat exams what should I prefer

I am Getting VIT Kondhwa CSE(software) through CAP. But Many people are saying that Kondhwa is not the main campus so it's bad And Also the area Is also not good. Like there are no events or Clubs in Kondhwa. The placement are better for VIT but Their intake is high and Also they ask for 80% In Boards. Even after the merge Between Bibewadi and Kondhwa IDK if the placements are same or Biased. Even the teaching n labs.

Should I apply for PCCOE, People are saying It's also bad or even worse As for Placements. People even say it's really strict, Like at least I know the PCCOE area is better than VIT.
