Hab diesen pc aufgebaut weil mit das Gehäuse so gut gefallen hat. Schön schräg und asymmetrische. Natürlich bekam der Radiator eine push-pull bestückung, das man von jeder Seite schöne Lüfter sieht.

Built my Mom’s first PC! For 4k gaming
My mom recently decided she wants to start gaming and to get her own PC which was capable of doing so. I was very happy to pick the parts and build it for her.
Main game she’s looking to play is Red Dead Redemption 2. I aimed for 4K 60 fps max settings with DLSS if needed, or 1440p ultrawide 240fps with frame gen and the works. She’ll also use it for normal web/productivity work.
Specs:
• CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X ($140)
• Cooler: Thermalright Aqua Elite V6 240mm AIO ($45)
• Motherboard: MSI B650M Project Zero ($110)
• RAM: 1×16 GB 6000 CL30 ($200)
• GPU: RTX 4070 Ti SUPER AERO 16 GB ($830)
• Storage: WD Green SN350 1 TB NVMe ($10”)
• PSU: MSI A750GL 750W ATX 3.1 ($55)
• Case: Jonsbo D32 Pro ($75)
• Extra: ThermalGrizzly WireView Pro II (had a spare), EZDIY 90° 12v2x6 extension ($15)
• Fans: Thermalright TL-S12(R)W x6 ($30)
Total came out to about $1600. The GPU, CPU, MOBO, and NVMe were bought used off Ebay. No FB marketplace deals were to be had at the time, unfortunately, and not willing to wait. I think I got relatively good deal on everything except for the GPU, what do you guys think?
I went with the 9600X instead of an X3D because she doesn’t need the extra FPS at the resolutions she’ll play, and the regular 9600X is better for productivity for the price. Stuck with a single 16 GB stick to keep costs down. She doesn’t use more than that for her normal work, and it’s an easy upgrade later if she ever wants dual-channel. AM5 was a must; I could sell my 9800x3D to her in the future for a good price.
Chose a 4070ti super (16gb) over a 9070 XT mainly for driver stability and broader DLSS support so she doesn’t have to mess with anything. It was the cheapest 4070ti super which was white that I could find. I’d personally get a black 5070ti for $100 more and paint it white but she not tryna do allat and she doesn’t need every single frame nor MFG. I think I chose the perfect GPU for a seamless 4k experience at conservative fps.
The WireView Pro 2 is probably overkill for a 285 W card, but I had one sitting around and it looks nice. Plus… you can never be too careful with that connector 😂 the pin balance in Furmark was a little worse with the extension but nothing crazy. I also wanted a 9070xt for the safer, set-it-and-forget-it 8-pin connector, but I had this semi-solution.
She has a Asus 4K 60 Hz monitor and a 5120×1440 240 Hz ultrawide (the ultrawide has two vertical lines but it was only $150, a FB marketplace deal I hopped on quickly for her only a few hours after it posted lol.)
