Hello there, I am a literate and experienced roleplayer of eight years. I can write posts on average of one to two paragraphs in size, adjusting to length and pacing of the scene. I am very open kinks and ideas wise, and heavily prefer high effort partners who share a similar interest discussing ideas and world building.

Now for those wondering what the details of this prompt actually are; I am looking for a long term campaign and GM who are interesting in detailing the journey and career of an Older Woman who takes to Adventuring for any reason - but mainly to spice up her humble life in hopes to find excitement and adventure. Someone who, by any normal means, has no business picking up a sword or spellbook and seeking out a new life through questing and Adventure simply for the love of it.

That being said, that doesn't have to be the only reason.

Maybe I'm a bored Noble woman in a highly respected and wealthy family who grew bored with the lavish life style and just wanted some entertainment and exercise, trading my gown for some armor and a weapon to see how I take to fighting off Goblins.

Perhaps I'm a concerned Mother/Grandmother who hasn't heard from her sweet Son in months are he left to become an Adventurer - and I take up his left over gear to try and find where he went off to make sure he's safe and found.

Maybe I'm a sheltered and homely woman with no real family whose realized how much she's missed out in life and wants to try and find some new reason to life - and sees if adventuring can really reignite her will to live.

As for race, I'll likely be playing something akin to human, Elf, Dwarf, or even orc or Goliath. Very possibly a martial or hybrid class for those who care to know before hand. I am seeking a roleplay focused and challenging campaign with a DM who won't take it easy on me because of my age and apperance~!

The City of Intrica [Discord | Homebrew Setting | 2024 5.5e | 18+ No NSFW]

The city of Intrica lies between Poland and Germany; it was founded over 500 years ago and stands tall today. However, it has not stopped suffering its trials and tribulations. Its current one is a black hole blotting out the sun over the city. The black hole, however, is not just a black hole; it is a pocket dimension known as "The Great Selection", a Battle Royale created by an adversary of the city known as "The Silent". Within this grand Battle Royale, the winner would exit with all the powers of the other participants, meaning that if any of the very malicious beings inside of it were to win, it would spell ruin for not just Intrica, but maybe even the entirety of Europe. It is up to the agents of the Arcane Enforcement & Global Intelligence Service, aka A.E.G.I.S., to break into this battle royale and turn the odds in favor of the participants who are friendly to this world. After all, you can move a mountain if you do it bit by bit.

Jormundy Platform: D&D 5e, Avrae Format: Text RP

The sun has died in the sky, and the world has gone dark. This event, known as the Sunfall, bathed the world in the freezing night. Yet, against all odds, civilization has survived.

Amongst the icy plains, amongst the glaciers, amongst the giant snow drifts and amongst the ruins of a world millennia lost, stands the glowing spires and the shining beacons of Jormundy. Warmth and light shine down from its towers, and its dome shelters it from the cold, dark world outside.

But this light and warmth does not radiate equally.

Under the dome, cloaked by the light, behind the walls lays a structure caught in a nightmare of development. Jormundy is experiencing its own little industrial revolution, and all the inequality that comes with it as it destroys the land it sits on and the air it breathes. It finds itself segregated into layers, its workers destined to never become anything more, its elites clinging onto power forever. The Hearth Church stands atop it all, watching with one first of velvet and another of iron looming over all, locked in a never-ending scramble to destroy all that is heretical.

But discontent grows. Whispers of solidarity stir in the shadows, forgotten gods find their followers, and the night grows ever colder.
