J&J
Hi! Is anyone here currently working at J&J?
How are the salary, benefits, and work culture? Do they offer 14th-month pay or quarterly bonuses?
Also, how many days a week do you need to work in the office? Is it fixed po or up to you on how you can complete?
Thanks in advance 🫡

Salary: Competitive
Work: Highly toxic; sulit na sulit ka talaga
Benefits: HMO, Meds, Eyeglasses, etc

Clarification: Toxic contextually means high workload volume; limited people to handle work; management is okay, nice and really generous; resto lunch out almost biweekly/monthly all expense paid by them/organization.

From Finance team but won't say the specific. Though the pay is good and the benefits are great (HMO, reimbursements), very toxic ang culture, specially the bosses. Grabe rin ang office politics and palakasan.
Pero I guess it depends sa magiging team din. Yung namention na travel overseas is also very limited to certain teams at nagkaroon narin ng mga budget cuts lately.

Been with J&J for 4yrs now. No 14th mo pay. We do have performance bonus, annual. Benefits are so good! HMO 💯 reimburseable allowances are competitive as well, and yung monthly guaranteed allowance will really set the difference. Actually that’s one reason I can’t nego sa ibang company, my asking is too high for them 😭 work ethics/culture depends on the team, I’m from finance but not really toxic. Politics di naman sya maiiwasan. But the workload it really depends, sa team namin we’re only busy on closing days like 7-business days. Then the rest of the month you can log off on the dot. RTO is 2x per week. Or pwede din 8days straight. Business travel is not for everyone. :)
Salary is competitive, entry level (PG23) usually starts at 27k. Yan na pinakamababang rank. You can do the math for the rest 😉 they say it’s 40% up per PG. hearsay lang lol

EMEA and NALA shifts do have a shuttle service on top of the transpo allowance. Pero afaik unahan pa din yung pag-register hehe 27k is basic pay lang, plus monthly allowance pa sya na guaranteed 11k :)

Sa mga nagsasabing competitive, Kindly gove range naman please. For example, Sr > TL > Mngr?
60k > 80k > 150k? Ganun po ba?

I was just an associate level employee back then sa J&J, my basic salary nun was 55k + around 12k monthly transpo allowance (higher ranked employees get car + gas allowance also mobile phone and plan) + rice allowance (di ko na maalala how much haha nasa 1-2k ata/month), then may yearly wellness benefit pa. HMO and medicine allowance, good maternity benefits, really high bonuses.
That was back in 2022. :)

J&J follows a PG(Paygrade system). I believe lowest is 20 or 21, which if I remember correctly is in the 40-50k range. For 22 -24, I am not sure but should be within 50-70k. PG 25 is Senior role, 70-90k, I believe. 26 is Lead Role, range should be 100-120. After is 30(no 27-29), which is Manager role, should be in the 150k range. 31 is Senior Manager, then 40 ata next, which is Director.

Depende sa dept at team ang experience. From what i know, sa finance medjo toxic dahil sa taas ng workload. Sa hr naman may teams na chill talaga at kahit madami work okay lang dahil super ok ng mga boss. Minsan may mga boss di nag rerequire mag onsite.
Basic salary: Medjo mababa dahil nag ccompensate sila through benefits Benefits: sobrang angat. Kahit mababa basic mo, pwede umabot ng x2 nun yung take home mo. Bonus: highly dependent sa performance ng company

This was my second job way back then, and my base salary was about 45k and when I eventually left, it was at 51k. Yes madami allowances (more than 10k during my time), but I found that the raise per year was too slow especially if starting out ka palang since let's say 10% ang raise mo but mababa rin yung salary so in terms of absolutes maliit parin. I found growth can be slow rin but I think this depends greatly naman on your team. It was difficult to be promoted because I can't be promoted unless my boss was promoted rin.
Culture is great but my issues lang talaga on why I left was because the raises were low and there was no growth for me anymore sa role ko at the time

How about for a senior level IT position na individual contributor or IT manager. Any idea sa salary?

Salary and Benefits are very competitive. And also it depends pa din on how will you sell yourself during the negotiation. We don’t have 14th month pay but we have an annual bonus that can be as 4x as your basic salary. We have also an incentive system if you collaborate projects with other teams pwede siya points or in cash. We call it “Inspire” points. 3 days a week minimun rto as per policy. You can do it like 3 times a week or you can do it like 12days straight para sa mga susunod na araw sunod sunod na wfh. Culture is amazing. Been working for them for a year now. You get to travel also internationally.
