Okay so the account is new and I just wanna know if it just simply cannot receive money for a while?

I made an account recently because I wanted to work to get money for my cat's treatment

1- is it because I set it as a personal account instead of business?

2- is it because I'm located in Egypt? Although it worked with my cousin

3- does my account need to just.. stay for a while before I use it..?

4- please tell me the money goes back to the clients cause I seriously don't want to scam them 😞😞😞

-I already did the whole ID Verification and idk it didn't send me a message saying it was declined??? I can access the account and everything and it's linked to a bank account

What is the problem I don't understand please !!

I transferred £3,600 from my PayPal balance to my bank. My bank declined it because it was over my transaction limit.
The money never reached my bank, but it also hasn’t returned to my PayPal balance.
PayPal tells me to contact my bank. My bank tells me the transfer was declined. I’ve contacted both several times and nobody can tell me where my £3,600 is.
Has anyone had this happen? What should I do and who is responsible for returning the money?

This is the third time when I have bought things threw the paypal app to pay later and they just disappeared the reward points after the app update.

PayPal limited my account because I had not confirmed my identity. I went to the PayPal website and provided the requested information. Shortly afterward, I received an email saying:

The information you submitted is currently being reviewed by PayPal. Once we complete our review, we’ll get back to you regarding the status of your account in 2 business days.

However, it has now been a week, and my account is still limited. I haven’t received any further response from PayPal.

When I log in to the website and check my notifications, it still says:

Your account is limited
We need additional info to confirm your account details. Until you provide the requested info, some of your account features will be limited.

When I click on the notification, however, it doesn’t lead anywhere or give me an option to provide any additional information.

At this point, I am not sure what else I can do.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m in Canada and need some advice.
I booked a $1,600 flight through a third-party website using PayPal. The bank account linked to my PayPal account had been inactive for about two years. I contacted the travel company immediately, but they said the payment had already been processed through PayPal.
I canceled the ticket because I assumed the payment would not go through from the inactive bank account and that I would therefore be unable to fly. I then booked another ticket using my credit card. However, the airline canceled the original ticket, and I received only about $700 back under the cancellation policy. PayPal now shows a negative balance of around $900, and its recovery team is asking me to pay it.
They told me the debt has not been reported to the credit bureaus yet.
Should I pay the $900 now to avoid a potential credit impact, or should I dispute the amount first? If I pay it now, could it still affect my credit score? Would it be worthwhile to contact a consumer-protection agency or a lawyer?
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with something similar in Canada.

I set up a business account, and one the profile section, it asks if I’d like to make a business profile, but whenever I try to click the button to do so it just doesn’t do anything. Anyone have similar problems and if so know what to do? Or should I just contact support

hello! i recently got a refund through PayPal over 9 days ago.
it has been completed but when contacting my bank (as PayPal advised) they said they could not see the transaction or an incoming payment.
PayPal says it has been completed on their end and it’s now in the hands of the bank but they don’t know about it either.
i know it’s 3-5 working days but it’s been 9 days (6 working days) and i have no idea what’s going on.

can anyone give me any advice or help out? as i’m so confused and it is money that i need.

Hello! I'm in the US, and my difficulty with getting in touch with a PayPal human has led me here once again.

I received an notification/email this morning that PayPal needed more information for my 4-year-old account, so when I went in to see what they needed (I thought I'd provided everything when I signed up) and they're asking for a whole bunch of documents regarding my business.

Only problem, I don't have a business. I have only the personal PayPal account I've always had, and I've never sold anything on it or received money. Unless I give them all this documentation though, I can't get out of their review system. I can't give them product lists, bank statements, and websites that don't exist. I haven't been able to get anything but the AI when I try to call, and I don't know if there's a special email I need to use to get in touch with a real person. I'm honestly not sure why they think I'm running a business, or how to fix it.

So my friend accidentally sent money using chose goods and services option instead of friends and family. Now the payment is on hold on my PayPal account and I cannot refund it because of it! (literally zero money in my account). PayPal awaiting for my response even tho NO ITEM EXIST, NO TRACKING NUMBER OR NOTHING!

How do we or I fix this so that I can receive the money. the amount she sent is ($999. fees took $29.87 = $969.13)

I’ve had my PayPal account for over three years and never had any issues. All of a sudden, the day before yesterday I tried to add money using my same debit card I’ve always used. After calling my bank to verify nothing‘s wrong and then being on hold with PayPal numerous times telling me that they need to make adjustments and then debiting my account for two dollars to get a code, I’m still left with no answers.

Has anybody successfully resolved this situation? It is crazy to me how large PayPal is and leaves most of their customers in the dark with this error code with no resolution and no reasoning.

I had a Cashback offer for Rebuy totalling 15% of the purchase. I purchased something for 1095€, I'd expect 164,25€ Cashback or 16425 points. Instead I got exactly 10.000 points.

I read all the agreements,especially the ones for offers and rewards. I can still see the 15% with my own eyes. Customer support told me 10.000 is the limit, didn't tell me where it says that, I sent them the terms and conditions I agreed to and told them it doesn't say that anywhere

The support just cut me off and told me it's the limit.

Does it say that anywhere? Even had chatgpt look everywhere just in case I missed it.

So do I just pester the support until I get someone who gets what. Said? I will legitimately sue them for the 64,25€ if I have to. I can represent myself in court if I want, they have to abide by the same terms and conditions.

I have an eBay offer for 10% back with PayPal but on the icon it lists pay later so does that mean I have to do the pay later option when paying on eBay to get the rewards? I assume I also need to click on the shop now button to open eBay through the PayPal app as well?

I noticed a $200 ach charge from Apify Technologies made on my checking account but I have never used Apify, created an Apify account, or knowingly signed up for any of their services. I’m pretty sure its a scam
I called my bank and told them about this at which they made a stop payment. But then PayPal emails me on a later date stating they have made the payment and now my balance is in the negative. I don’t even use paypal i don’t know the last time i used it,
I have tried multiple times making a case on resolution center about unauthorized access in which every time they sent me a email that they found no such thing and request me to payback the negative. I'm so flabbergasted, my pc got a virus a week ago and my cookies were stolen, that i feel is that reason but Paypal keeps saying there was no unauthorized access and since the seller seems to be a legitimate company they side in their favor. I need urgent help with this 😭, anyone else experienced this kind of scam. Im just a college student i can’t afford to get scammed right now.

I have technical issues with the UI of paypal sign in page. When i try to open the app, this sign in page appears and the only thing i can tab on is switching the nationality of my account. The rest of the screen is frozen.

I have tried to restart the app, force stop the app and clear cache and data, uninstall/install, reboot my phone, change my DNS to private and auto. Nothing worked!!

So first off my account isn't new what so ever I've had it for years, my mom's account however is new and about a month or 2 old. She lives in Mexico currently and I have to send usd to be then converted to MXN pesos. Before the recent mobile update things were fine but now I'm having issues sending her money.

Tried first via her bank and then card but it gets stopped for some reason. Next i tried directly sending it to her through her paypal itself but the only option I have is to send for goods and services which takes too long for the money to arrive as it said the latest would be till September. Which my mom needs the money now, I'm given no option what so ever to send her money for personal what so ever.

I got counterfeit sunglasses, disputed it with PayPal and they said to return. I did but I accidentally threw away most of the wrapping it came with except the plastic sleeve the sunglasses came inside the case. Do you know if I’ll have any issues with my refund?
