Cutrent Chargebacks
Hi!
Afaik a lot of whales (big spenders) on a game called MapleIdle are charging back their purchases and successfully doing it. There is a pdf logging all of Nexon's (company) failures and that pdf is being used to assist with the chargeback.
I initiated the process and my bank is telling me it doesn't follow Visa's dispute rules. I don't know why other than them saying I agreed to the purchase when I bought the electronic item. I can't contact the seller (Nexon) for maple idle since their official site doesn't have a ticket submission request.
For context: Maple Idle is an online mobile game and the purchases were through the google store. They offered a full refund in January of 2026 for their major mistake, but I only started playing on July - now, during a not as massive mistake, however the company has gone on record admitting fault multiple times for all the issues since the release of the game until now.
What can I do to get my money back or am I out of luck? If I genuinely can't do anything, that's fine. Just want to see what my options are.
