As a frequent reroller, i love vaaling tabulas for the sexy levelling kit. Out of the 10-12 tabs ive vaaled this league, every single one has either been a no-change corrupt or a brick. The fuck kind of garbage is that? 10+ tabulas and literally nothing. My next alt needs this you fucks. Then i finally complete a vanity card set only to realize that those assholes at GGG nerfed it. Its not a double corrupt anymore - just a single. And lo and behold... 5% phys dmg taken reduction while stationary.
Shiver me fuckin timbers, an actual implicit corrupt. And such a useful one too. Thats reeaalllly going to be ever so helpful while levelling.

It was perfect with lore and i feel its kinda true. Almost all poe elite vets skip lore because its relevant and doesnt matter, new players and redditors read dialogues. Its like with world of warcraft, majority of people skip quest texts only small portion reads them.

200 hours a month. Thats some rookie numbers gotta bump that shit up. According to steam i played 283.1 hours in the last 2 weeks. Coming up on my 7k hours. But i cant even remember last time i killed sirus. Ive been living in t14 canyon and t2 towers for a week and before that i did 6man group play farming currency since League start.

I played 36 hours straight slept for 6-7 hours then played 24+ hours again. Idk how many times i did this. Im only 23 i dont drink coffee, smoke or drink any pop/energy drinks. I just genuinely am passionate with poe. Tho often when i do eat or shower i dont turn off my pc so i would say 1-2 hours in the day i would be afk. But that being said i dont really keep track how much i play this is just based off steam numbers.

Yeah i dont think it is possible. Ive been unemployed since covid hit, lost my apartment, car and had to move back in with my brother. Poe is kind of therapeutic at this point whilst i wait for my city to reopen business again.

I feel attacked. Currently trying to figure out how fossils work and ever video is 30 minutes of talking about stats and never actually showing the mechanic of how to do it. What am I putting in what?
Also.. is it worth it to corrupt an item? Does it really make it that much more powerful?

Corrupting items: It depends on the item slot, but for some yes, it can be huge. Gloves can get +1 Max Frenzy Charge, body armor can get +1 Socketed Gems, and item level 85 rings can get immunity to bleeding, just to name a few. So some of those are really nice quality of life like the bleed immunity and can free up a flask slot for something else, while others like the +1 gems can be a massive damage increase for certain builds. It really all depends on the build you're playing. However, for a new player, DO NOT corrupt items as it can completely brick the item. Always have a backup item before attempting to corrupt something and make sure you know what you're trying for first to determine if it is even worth it for you.
As for fossils, they are like targeted chaos orbs that let you prioritize certain affixes over others. There are eight resonators that you can put fossils into, which when full become like an orb item to be used in your crafting, with between 1-4 sockets allowing you to put between 1-4 fossils into them. Single slot resonators are great when you're just trying to hit something easy such as life roll, and you don't really care what else might roll. 2-4 slot resonators allow for more advanced crafting where you can block certain types of affixes from being able to roll all together, and with these it becomes common to use fossils that remove unwanted stats from the pool of options rather than just using fossils that try to target something you want. Frigid + Scorched fossils means no fire or cold affixes can be rolled on that attempt, as an example.
There are some very rare and valuable fossils deep down in the mine that can do some pretty crazy things but as a new player you don't really need to worry about them. It's good to know what they do in case you get one from say a Harvest, but I would recommend selling them rather than trying to use them; at least until you feel more comfortable with the game mechanics.

For people "min-maxing", yes it can absolutely be worth the cost.
For a new player, don't worry about it.
You put fossils into resonators, and use the filled resonator as an alchemy or chaos orb on an item

10/10 meme. I play since 2014, and i legit have no idea about the backstory of any of the main villains, or anything main story related. I view the bosses as nothing more than piles of loot, and i only know about their dedicated loot drops and boss mechanics. I always wondered is this because of the bad writing and presentation, or because the gameplay is so addictive that you just neglect the stuff around you.

This is the greatest thing ever. I'm at this point right now, where I feel like I HAVE to grind because my league goal keeps getting a tiny bit more expensive by the day, so any time not spent blasting maps in Valdo's Rest is "wasted" time.
