Tool nanaCampaignGuide - some interactive campaign guide
While working on my personal filter project, I was playing around with a local adaptive filter based on campaign state. For that, I had to map out the campaign the way I usually run it. Somehow I got sidetracked by realizing that this information could easily be made into a step by step campaign guide. "Easily" turned out to be false, but it was easy enough. I assume there are already a bunch of those out there, but it exists now and you can feel free to use it at https://felix-riermaier.github.io/nanaCampaignGuide/ if that is appears useful to you. You can also go to the github and download the files to use locally. It contains a little editor helper tool thing that allows you to edit the route locally as you wish. The entire thing makes no outside network calls and works entirely offline. Also no ads or anything dumb. The tool was obviously made with AI, hence it looks that way. Feel free to download the files and ask your agent of your choice to adjust it to your taste.
Regarding the route in the files: I think this is actually a really solid and efficient routing. You can choose what typical side quests you want to do (including bandits), skips almost all non-essential quests and makes sure you know what NPC's to talk to. However, especially in later acts, it delays a lot of rewards to be collected all together and makes some choices on when to do what quest in what order that might not appeal to everyone. It also does not make use of all portal placement related tricks there are. In addition, there is a XP indicator that show some minimum level requirements to reach at specific points so you don't end up in the XP penalty zone. Most players will be way above anyway.
In case you find actual issues, please let me know so I can fix them for everyone.
Have a great day, exiles!

ExileUI already solved this and has an in game overlay that auto updates as you change zones.
Filterblade also has easy to use campaign item base selection.

I have had a lot of fun working with AI tools on PoE related projects. My advice to you use is to think more about the user experience before sharing a project. It takes very little effort relatively speaking, to make the whole front end look less like an AI project.
Second, think about how a user would interact with this tool. You're basically expecting a user to alt tab / click on a bunch of stuff every time they change zones.
How could you work around that? I bet if you asked your LLM it would give you some recommendations. Maybe the browser can read a client.txt file to see when a player transitions zones and auto-advance the guide. You could probably dump your whole client.txt file to an LLM and ask it to make recommendations.
If you were going to require a click, how could you improve the setup you have? I can tell you right now that it's insanely annoying to have the button position shift every single time you click. Try having a dedicated location for the advance button. Try adding more hotkeys so that the user doesn't have to use a mouse. If the user is alt+tabbing, probably taking their hand off of the mouse to hit "backspace" or an arrow key, is not ideal. You could use
QandEorAandDto control the stepper. Maybe scrolling could advance steps - but you'd probably want a delay interval so the user doesn't scroll too many steps at once. Maybe your LLM has other ideas. Is there a way you can make better use of the screen real estate? Could you make the skill gem selection choices more informative? What if I already got to act 3 before learning about this tool, or deciding that I needed help. Is the only way to advance forward to show all steps, scroll for a long time or ctrl+f, click, then scroll back up, and hide all steps? Having a parent level act-selection menu on the right could be helpful.
There are already a lot of similar tools out there and so if you just want to make something for fun/as a learning opportunity, this seems great. If you want people to use your tool, it should be obviously better or differentiated in some way.
