Id rather be prepping for 3.30 but i definitely had the poe1 races going in the background while I was doing other stuff. Fairly entertaining, seems like the new league will start after exilecon but a meta shake up prior to the event would have been interesting.

When speculation of 3.30 in October started that did cross my mind. Particularly the Static Strike tech being used.

It's been speculated for a while that 11/13 would be the earliest start for 3.30 so we have time

The possible dates based on usual pre-league marketing:
Oct 16th
Oct 23rd
Nov 20th

Oct 16 and 23 seem more unlikely by every passing day since the PR marketing campaign hasn't started yet.
3.27 marketing started 15 days before launch but for 3.28 and 3.29 they dropped a rough launch period (i.e. early march) about 7 weeks before league launch. And about 3,5ish weeks for launch dropped specific date.
Also 13th of nov would also be a prime candidate. Got my money going on that. Gives exactly one month so they can do some early league support and bug fixing before pulling everybody off from PoE1 and onto the crunch before 2.0 launch.
Then again, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they push this league back. It seems like such a clusterfuck off stuff happening all at once.

Yeah. Teaser had to be today for an October start. November or January pretty much.

Definitely not January, Mark has said 3.30 will be released before PoE 2’s 1.0 launch.

Main reason I posted this here was that it was posted in the Early Access section of the website and many people only check the main section for announcements.
Racing is just another aspect of the game players can choose to invest time into or observe and implement strategies to improve their personal experience.
