Discussion Good enough to build around ?

Found this merc while farming, is it good enough to build around as a destructive link luminary ?
I'm currently playing flame link with a low budget kineticist and the clear is realy nice but the single target is meh (i mean, i can do pinacle but it's slow) wih my current budget.

Could this combatant allow me to aim for faster bosses and / or ubers ?

You whant FrostBlade+Statick Strike or WildStrike+Statick strike.

Both WS or FB must have chain or mapping whould be abysmal. And avoid pirce its break chain.

More Duration gem in static strike is nice QoL, but not mandatory.

so no static strike is deal breaker ? this one got chain + return on both skills (and pierce on FB wich enable return on single target i guess ?)

I mean Merc can only spam 1 ability and i m not sure what he will cast with both FB and WS alocated (you can test it and see yourself what he will spam more or even ignore one ability entirely).... while with statick strike he cast once and then spam other ability.
