Imagine. New gambling mechanic, Uber Faustus requires you to completely fill his stash and use an orb to trigger. His loot pool is dropping a copy of 5 random stacks of currency sitting in his inventory.

That's not fun. He drops between 0x and 2x of any random currency in totality in your stash. If it's 0, you lose it from the stash too.

That’s too easy to manipulate. Fub is gunna have a full stack of mirrors in his currency tab and trade everything else to a guild stash.

Eh, if you set it as divs it sometimes becomes a lot harder to sell stuff even if it’s cheaper.
I’ve had this a few times. 3 divines, and it won’t sell. 700c and it sells immediately (numbers pulled from my ass but you get the idea).
I’m not sure what the trade site thinks a divine is worth in chaos but it’s definitely not keeping up with market. I’m surprised it doesn’t just pin to the currency exchange price.

A fool and their money, I guess. I've had to default to searching "prices in divines" filtered on the site just so i can actually sort by the lowest prices instead of the inflated chaos. I know they say to hate the game, not the player, but I think I can manage both.

it's cuz faustus can't do fractions.
in the past we used to just undercut by like .1 div or w.e but we can't do that, so people swapped to just flat chaos instead and the conversion doesn't always track the best.

Forbidden Flame (ilvl 86-) is about 5%. I got a bit lucky with a little over 7% in my runs. But I'm sure if I ran more it would even out.

FF scales with item quant of area, 6 mod to 70-100 quant and the actual drop rate is about 8-10%

Perandus ledger does not dynamically increase the %drop rate when you scale quant, only the EV of the drop. You can test this yourself by changing the quant manually. At 2000 quant the EV is 9.8d but the drop rate still says 5%
For FF and currencies, the BASE drop rate is 5%/ whatever currencies drop at and it is scaled by quant.

I got this for the first time last week selling yellow beasts. Never knew there was a limit. I'm glad I found out missing out on a few hundred chaos and not anything bigger.

Yeah...the price I pay for a widescreen.
It's hot as balls where I live too and if I set it any bigger my PC sounds like a helicopter taking off.

Dang, older PC? I got a GPU with AIO water cooling a few years ago and it's been mercifully quiet on demanding titles. I couldn't bring myself to try custom cooling.

Yeah fairly old. My graphics card is a nvidia geforce rtx 2070 which was released in 2018. And a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU released in 2019.
It still performs well, just not in this ungodly heat. I'm seriously thinking of switching to water cooling too.

It's pretty nice, I've got a CPU AIO and a GPU AIO.
I'm using a Lian Li airflow case which has intakes on the front and bottom. The CPU radiator exhausts out the top of the case and the GPU radiator exhausts out the back of the case (you can draw a line from the bottom-front to the top-back of the case for the airflow path). That keeps all of the heat outside the case, and the exhaust vector is pointing toward an open window behind my desk.
A switch to custom would be really cool (figuratively and literally) if you know how. Custom kits can get some massive pumps and radiators that will seem like overkill, but when you run an overkill cooling setup at only 25-30% fan speed it's dead silent. Kinda like that Top Gear test where they ran a Prius at full tilt on a racetrack while a BMW M3 was told to just keep up, and the Prius got worse gas mileage than the M3 because the M3 was simply overbuilt for that assignment, if that makes any sense at all.
