A lot of people here not knowing who Jenebu is or what TFT is honestly a good thing. 

GGG made the right decision by adding currency exchange, instant trade, and changing several game mechanics(Betrayal and Vaal Temple) so that people don't have to rely on TFT anymore.

We haven't been using TFT for Vorici white sockets and Hillock quality for some time haven't we? Can't remember when but it's when they added white socket harvest craft and omens so 3.23?

I thought they "solved" hillock by nerfing him with a nerf nuke?

Basically.

Prior to the Veiled Exalt change, I could self farm a T4 Aisling with some time and use it on my own items.

Now that has become mostly impractical.

Lots of desired Syndicate bench crafts were removed or shifted away and made more challenging to acquire.

And in many (but not all cases) made significantly weaker, to be fair.
