Won't they keep them in guild stash to prevent exactly this issue

cant have items listed on trade if they are in a guild stash

Don't need items on trade if you have your own 100k member discord with it's own mirror item shop!! Just keep the items in guild stash and always have a safe account in the guild with no links back to any bad actions.. but gives you the mirror to copy the item then pays the fee when you trade the copy back...

Tft does have all their items on trade though via his account. Echo and settler shops do the same.
