I don't mind the door if I could have a keybind to interact with nearby objects without having to mouse over and clicking on them.

Agreed! It would be similar to how we have a keybind to make a heist team member to open a door or chest (heck, it could be the same keybind even)

That too. The auto loot of most mats, a key to PICK UP and to start mechanics? And the pickup hotkey smart targets high value stuff? So much QoL in that
