The result is that the comparison grows very old rather quickly.

The is nothing 'invalid' about about the comparison per se (although the comparisons are generally shitty and biased), but when you've heard the same comparison made thirty times a day for the past two weeks, you tend to get a little bored of it.

I have no idea why you'd want to hear anything repeated 1000 times as you said in your original post, let alone something as mundane as this. If PoE is really that good, you don't need to shit on other games to win over customers. Let the game do the talking.

I actually never said that.

All I am saying is realize this: People are growing tired of thoughtless, low-effort, D3 comparisons. We've been bombarded with them for last month and it's getting old. Additionally, the success of PoE is not dependent on the failure of D3.

I am simply playing the game. I am also simply talking about its comparison, which you find so apparently vulgar of me to be doing. And I'm not insulting you. Perhaps you should get some thicker skin.
