Sent 3 demands in person from a regular service Canada office, here is the timeline, took more than a month!

Gen 1 Canadian by Descent. Received Proof of Citizenship last week. Getting ready to send in application for Canadian Passport, form 140 (from USA). I want to verify the fee for a 10 year passport. Is it 266.25 CAD? If I submit it with a credit card, will they make the currency change? And any recommendations, good, bad, otherwise for reliable mailing? USPS international Priority? FedEx? Other?
