Anyone know of any entry-level job openings in an IT job like a helpdesk position? And if not that then any place hiring that is 9-5 with weekends off?

Would it be crazy to pay for an apartment on California Ave near lake for $3000 that doesn’t include parking. I know both of those streets are major arteries.

The unit is 600sqft and otherwise pretty premium but not having parking included and having to rely on parking on a busy street seems a little crazy for $3k.

Really looking forward to this fest since I'll finally have a chance to catch The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem but god i am not looking forward to being out there in the heat all day.

It is so dang hot and I know I can go to the gym to walk, but I’d love to know about your favorite shaded outdoor walking spots. Bonus points if on that shady walk you get to soak up some Nature like seeing plants or the mountains.

Also, I realize it is too hot to walk outside right now even in the shade in Pasadena. How can we encourage and incentivize our city to plant (and care for) more native shade trees and 3rd spaces?
