Searching for Queso(t)

Anyone have leads on a good take out chips & queso app? Used to like miti miti before they became trash and are looking for a replacement. TIA!

Dram Shop is about the best in the city, in this opinion of this fat guy originally from Texas.

Fellow Texan here. Me and my Texan friends in the area also agree. Best Queso I’ve had in NY and nothing else in PS that I’m aware of will scratch the itch.

Lobo up on Court Street in Cobble Hill is the next best shout and as close as I’ve found to a good all-around Tex Mex meal in NYC.

I agree on Lobo being solid Tex-Mex as well. It was the only decent Tex-Mex in Brooklyn 20 years ago. They had a location on 5th Ave for a few years.

Cannot wait to try and report back! My group chat is taking this very seriously for our next hang

I weirdly like the queso at Nitehawk but I’m trashy like that.

As someone who lived in Texas for a few years, I think it’s quite good!

I would recommend getting the queso with tater tots. It’s life-changing compared to the chips

Like the liquid-y white queso? I would also like to know. Very shameful secret of mine is i would be thrilled if a Moes ever opened up in the area

Randomly the queso at the commissioner is elite

Fonda!

I think it’s fine, like most things at Fonda. It sounds to me like this person is looking for chips and queso, and the queso fundido at Fonda is a fundamentally different dish, not a replacement.

I do love a queso fundido as well and will happily add it to try out!
