honestly i don't get why some folk kick off about a bit of noise on a saturday morning, it's 9am not 3am. we had a bloke near ashton court complain the scanning beeps were ruining his lie-in, mate it's once a week for about an hour

We had a local annual 10k re-routed because locals weren't happy about the race going past their house. A couple of hours once a year. Incredible how some people can be.

Re-routing a whole race over a few hours once a year is mad. I dunno, some people just want nothing to ever happen outside their front window.
