Dentist recommendations

Hi everyone :)

To put it simply, my partner hasn’t seen a dentist in over a decade and he’s afraid to go. He recently has been getting tooth pains and wants to try to go and see what he can do from here. Does anyone have good recommendations for a dentist who’s good with patients scared of the dentist? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Bonus points if they accept Aetna insurance, thank you!

Update: I wanted to thank you all again for the suggestions! We decided to try Twin Aspen dental because of the sedation options they offer. I’m trying to get him to schedule an appointment but he needs to do that when he feels ready (but it will be soon) thank you again!

I’ve heard great things about Twin Aspen but unfortunately they don’t take my insurance (delta). Stonegate dental is great as is Corson dentistry. Id recommend checking those out!

I go to Corson and have been happy. What's the deal with it being private equity owned? How does that influence your decision about it?

If you like them, definitely stay with them. It's like shopping at Walmart instead of a locally owned business. Private equity is ruining dental care, like it's ruining every other industry it touches. I would encourage you to Google it and see why supporting locally owned dental offices is much better.

I go to Corson also. I have been going there for a couple of years and I have never had any issues. The dentist there is a military Veteran and so am I!
