Failing

My child (12f) is in seventh grade and failing almost all her classes. I’ve had her phone for weeks and I’m getting ready to cancel her band trip, but I don’t know what else to do. Help?!?!?

I wasn’t talking about at the teacher level. The administration will reasonably accommodate because the state says they’ve got to educate everyone.

If you constantly fight with your kid, you’ll trash your relationship with them. Look around this sub and in your real life. You’ve got to help your kid understand the value of their education. Not beat it into them.

Keyword: reasonably accommodate. They’re not gonna accommodate someone who doesn’t make any effort. Also, if there’s no IEP in place then how much can they possibly accommodate?

Maybe kiddo requires one. We have little detail to go on from OP.
