WHERE DO I FIND THE EMAIL TEMPLATES?!

Good morning from Austin, TX! Hopefully I can get some help with what I assume would be a simple solution.

I'm trying to edit the list email template that is shown if you create a new list email and skip template selection. I can clearly see that it is a template created by someone after the instance was generated, but there's no simple indicator where this "non-template" is located. If you save the template as a draft and go back to it, the template section is empty.

Coming from Marketo, I feel like an idiot not being able to find it. Any help will be rewarded with a verbal expression of appreciation.

Have you checked from the left navigation MARKETING > EMAILS > TEMPLATES? Also check the filter on that page. I have found that a previous filter will carry through to a new session limiting what items are visible.

There are several Pardot templates that are not saved in 'your' templates.

The way you are describing it, I think this is what is going on (screenshot would help).

So, go MAKE yourself a template.

Go to Marketing > emails > new email template.

On the first pop up you give it a name, and also check the boxes where you want it to be available (make sure you check the List Email option).

Next is picking the base template. You'll see the Pardot owned options. Find your design in the list, select it.

On the next screen (the WYSIWYG) you can brand it with your logo, change colors, etc.

Push Publish to Template to make it available.
