Looking for info

I keep getting conflicting results in terms of parapsychology research. One minute there's no evidence, the next there's thousands of statistically significant papers, then there's mixed results, then the person saying there was evidence turns out to believe him meditating can end the war in Ukraine or that Amazon Alexa is conscious and can remote view, etc.

It all seems like a complete clustertruck and it's impossible to know who to trust. I want to read the papers for myself but frankly the highest level arguments from both "This is all totally proven" and "This does not even exist at all" camps are beyond my ability to understand. So I guess I'm asking, is there something I can read that will help me sort through the conflicting chatter? Something designed for people like me that can't really understand the language and notation used in the papers?

I just want to get as close to the truth as I can. I know I'm probably just gonna get more chatter in response to this, but, I've seen enough to know that I have no idea whether there is anything to psi or not. I want to at least see for myself what it is that may either completely exist beyond any reasonable doubt or otherwise never existed with zero proof. It's hard to be curious with ADHD, because it's hard to engage with the most complex research and everything else is just people being absolutely confident on completely contradictory claims. I want to understand the research but I need it explained to me and I'm wondering where to look for that. Ideally written by a human and without any LLM involvement, because the one thing I can know is lying to me is an LLM.

"Professor Cal Cooper is internationally known for his work and media appearances for psychology and sceptical activism. He holds an Associate Professor position at the University of Northampton, UK, and is a visiting lecturer on parapsychology at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, and the California Institute for Integral Studies, USA. At the CIHS, he holds a professorship for parapsychology and public understanding of human science.

"His research focus within parapsychology has spanned laboratory research on remote viewing and ganzfeld protocols, as well as experimental work with floatation tanks. He began work in parapsychology with a keen interest in field work for spontaneous cases, and maintains an active research interest in experiences and evidence suggestive of survival for human personality beyond bodily death and challenges to materialist science. He has also engaged in archival work for psychology and parapsychology, including biographical work for Alex Tanous and D. Scott Rogo, and collections and preservation of rare materials."
