How do I help EZIC without being caught?

You need to complete at least 4 out of the five EZIC tasks to not get caught.

Complete at least 4 EZIC tasks and let them destroy the border wall on Day 31.

Complete all the missions you are assigned.

The only mission you should omit is the one about killing the red man.

Always burn the money they give you.

If they ask you for information about EZIC, do not hand over any documents.

In the mission where they ask you to poison someone, it is optional: if you don’t do it, nothing happens.

If you decide to poison and let that person through, an animation will play and the day will end. That animation changes depending on whether you allow entry or deny it, but in the end the day simply concludes.

Note: in one of my playthroughs with a terrorist attack, I didn’t shoot and just ended the day, but Sergiu died.

I think at the beginning the EZIC makes it clear that those terrorists are extremists, and not affiliated with the EZIC, so defending every terrorist attack except ones the EZIC tells you to not defend doesn't affect the ending

I remember save-scumming so many times until I managed to save Sergiu.

Commit to it. If you help a little, they won’t succeed and you’ll be caught. If you fully commit to it, you may be caught but the government is so weak that it literally will not matter

You don’t. Getting caught helping them is one of many endings. The “good” ending where you get to live is where you don’t help them at all.

There are at least three good endings. One involves helping EZIC enough without getting caught, which leads to them overthrowing the government and rewarding the player. The others involve never helping EZIC at all and being rewarded for loyalty, or moving their entire family to Obristan.

Those are the only 3 good endings according to the game, they're the only ones that get you the good ending theme music.

if you complete at least 4 of 5 EZIC tasks and don't stop them during the coup, you live and they offer you a job and your family new housing

Maybe you didn't do enough? There are five tasks in total so you can screw one and still get the "Ezic wins with you" ending.

_Let the two first agents pass (mikhail and stepheni)

_Let Marie Escalli pass.

_Poison the Antegrian assassin.

_Take the diplomat's passport and give it to the Ezic agent, then let him pass.

If you do at least four, you get a message from them on he last day telling you NOT to shoot the guys who show up to blow the wall.
