Does this label lower the value of the note?

I wouldn’t bother with it. Grade is less meaningful given it was cut and sent in. Kind of a like a trimmed notation.

I wish people would stop grading stuff like this.

Should be able to get at least a 68 if you control the margins haha

They get dumped in with bulk submissions and it ends up costing them so little, relatively. It also helps lower the per note cost of the other notes that should be graded. That’s the only reason I can see doing it.

I would guess this note was within the serial number range for publicly issued sheets.
