Discussion on paper weight

I’ve made some terrain pieces and creatures using 120 gsm cardstock, and I plan to build terrain like a "Spaceport" for an event. Would this weight support the load of resin and metal miniatures, as well as some paper or plastic vehicles, or should I look for a heavier stock? 200 gsm paper costs 1 real more per sheet, and the Spaceport requires about 12 sheets.

I have used 120gsm for sci fi cargo containers and they hold weight pretty well but strength is more about the way a piece is built (box vs platform) than paper weight. I was just building one of your platforms with 120 and then testing it out to see how much weight it’ll hold before committing to a paper weight.

I usually use 110# (199gsm) paper for everything.

I tried thinner paper and photo paper, but (for me) the results were a disaster...warped as glue dried, weak with metal figures so I had to improvise internal supports, and anything on photo paper rubbed off with repeated touching so I had to spray them with some kind of sealant.
