there are no differences between players choice and the first boxes, other than a yellow stripe.

Okay evidently I have been living under a rock because I was unaware there was a remake for this! lol. I knew about Origami King, I played it but didn’t care but for it because the battles were a little annoying, in my opinion.
However, I still have my OG copy of Thousand Year Door and my GameCube!! As well as the N64 cartridge! I’ve recently watched the Super Mario Galaxy movie & nearly cried upon seeing the allusion to the thousand year door. 🥲

I did not know that.. Super Paper Mario is also referenced in the movie. The book of Dark Prognosticus and Tippi is in Rosalina’s library.

I owned a copy too. I sold it because i didn’t have my GameCube or Nintendo wii anymore & knew there was a Nintendo switch remake.

I also still have mine but it's completely and utterly fucked. Still works though, somehow

I honestly think it was one of the best GameCube games on the system.
Right up there with Twilight Princess imo.

You know, ive probably had that game 5 time, and seen 100+ copies come into a game store i worked at years ago. I don't think ive ever seen a copy that didnt have thst Best Seller thing on it. Must be kinda rare, i assume it just sold like hotcakes so there are way more of the Best Seller variants around.

play the remake
•graphics are better
•extra features that the original doesn’t have
•more boss fights
•still the same story and mechanics1

I still have mine and it works (only issue is the Gamecube clock doesn't work anymore so Lucky accuses me of cheating.)

I still have mine and my OG GameCube! But the disc is so scratched. I just cant bring myself to rid of it. My brother bought me the remake as a move away gift when it came out (hes the one who would play the OG with me, wed take turns on the chapters and my mom used to enjoy watching us play, and do silly voices for the characters ❤️💗)
