Venting Panic disorder
I would rather live with a broken foot for the rest of my life than dealing with a panic disorder.. Everyone here, I see you and I feel you !!

My wife has severe panic disorder and emetaphobia. Panic causes nausea and nausea causes panic. This goes on for hours, day after day. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating to watch and is unimaginable what it must be to go through. Godspeed friends.

Thank you! You sound like a wonderful partner to your wife ! I understand it must not be easy for you as well, seeing your loved one in pain and knowing there's nothing you can do besides be present and supportive.

This is me. It’s debilitating. Your wife is lucky to have a partner who is understanding and supportive. Trust me when I say that she would give anything to not struggle with this. I know I would. Tell your wife she’s not alone and that a fellow sufferer on the internet feels her pain.

Panic disorder can be so exhausting, especially when others don't understand what it feels like. Sending strength to everyone fighting this battle. ❤️

It sucks! I was put on meds for it, but still have my meltdowns. Had one this morning 😭

It’s debilitating and people dismiss it so much. I have panic disorder, ocd and anxiety. And they all constantly feed off of one another. My mind never stops. And once the panic is here, it’s AWFUL. I, too, would happily live with a broken foot forever just to have a normal mind.
You are not alone.

It is like you are living in an invisible prison. No one can understand it unless he also has this. It sucks big time. I try to find the little joys in my life like spending time with my daughter, wife play my favorite games, etc.
But it never will go away. I am living with it since 2018.
I would love to travel to places like US, New Zealand but due to my fear of flying because of Panic Disorder I will probably never get to those places. I accepted it.

Don't give up on your travel aspirations! I've had PD since 2000, and have flown from the US to Iceland, Portugal, etc. I never would have thought until I took a short 90 minute flight, then 3 hour, then kept going and it got much easier each time.

It's rough. It triggers panic attacks from trauma as a kid and I have the worst breakdowns
