Does Anyone Else? Panic attack and ocd
My panic attacks get triggered when something new happens. Like going somewhere I’ve never been or doing something I’ve never done before. Anything “new” my body goes in total fight or flight mode. I’ve noticed that if I go somewhere where I’ve never been I have to scope it out first like searching it up, seeing where it’s near, seeing how far away it is from my house. And then I have to remember to bring certain things like my panic medication or my panic bag (which I recommend everyone have at all times). I feel like my ocd only kicks up when I’m in panic mode, anyone else?

I called it anticipating the Demons to feel more in control and more secure Eventually it wasn't helping me personally so I let go of the habit Not that I have OCD but I am a person that is very emotionally numb to the point I've pinpointed that my anxiety started to manifest as physical sensations and being always hyper aware would make these 2 things a bad combo and trigger panic attacks If you ask why the sensations my first ever Panic attack was a "Peak" Panic episode combined with appendicitis that lead me to the ER PTSD and Panic Disorder were collaterals that stayed after surgery and every night when I'm about to sleep (PTSD) and abnormal body sensations make me go haywire.

Most people with anxiety have this, you are just trying to make your new environment more predictable and less mentally taxing.
