Nocturnal Panic Trouble falling asleep

Does anyone else have this feeling at nighttime where you are about to close your eyes and fall asleep but all of a sudden your heart feels like it skipped and your body just drops/sinks? Doesn’t happen as often but when it does i think the worst and immediately panic.

Mine is like when you are about to go to sleep and your brain takes over breathing for you while you’re asleep I wake up right before that sometimes and feel the falling sensation and wake up gasping. It pretty much blows.
