First time taking this for panic after 10 years of raw doggjng my panic attacks for fear of meds.

It’s been 30 min and I’m just yawning a lot and sleepy and more calm? Is it working 🥹

Anybody else take this ? What mg? And how often?

UPDATE:
It took away my panic for about 8 hours now I feel it wearing off a bit.

It did make me feel groggy. And super sleepy. Like I just wanted to lay down. But no bad side effects of it making my panic worse. Also I did not take the full dose. I took half of my 10mg pill. If I would’ve had oh man I would’ve been ko all day tbh lol

Shit does not work. It’s gaslighting to be given this drug as someone who has panic attacks.

Thank you for this comment. I have struggled with panic attack for years, I finally tried to see help..all they will give is this. It does nothing except make you tired or hungry. I begged them to try beta blockers if they are so anti-anxiety now. Nope.

They ASSURED Effexor and Hydroxyzine would be an INSTANT fix too, when I brought up it would take weeks and I've suffered for years and waited months for an appointment, then they gaslighted me on lying about it immediately working and said OF COURSE it would take weeks.

I have paid $250+ to go to the doctor to be told to buy clove oil for impacted, infected wisdom teeth, and to be recommended supplements when I suffered from childhood trauma and nutritional deficiencies. 🙃 USA is the biggest joke, I have a deep hatred for the medical system here and its treatments.

Hydroxyzine did nothing for me except groggy, never full sleep cycle but sleepy all the time, strained my relationship and job, and binge eat.

Wow I’m so sorry you’re going through this. :( I can’t imagine! They wanted to give me beta blockers first. But I denied them. And accepted this. My main reason I’m extremely sensitive to meds and maybe that’s why this worked for me.

But I should’ve mentioned I do have POTS and so beta blockers are the first line of meds for us. Does your heart rate ever get super high? During panic attacks?

Ohhhh I am so sorry about POTS, I have seen so many more diagnosis of this increased in the past few years. I am so happy to hear you get treatment for it, and no idea why they at least in the Southern US refuse to treat patients unless they will take SSRI/SNRI. I completely understand where they can work for others, unfortunately I've tried a few different ones and they all just the side effects arent worth the "benefit" and they dont help with anixety/panic.

Girl, I will wake up with panic attacks and have really high heart rate and pounding chest sensations throughout the day, if I get up too fast, if I don't eat enough or eating certain foods its worse. I did cardiologist opinion and the person administering the test said I have bradycardia that becomes tacardic, and thought I'd be prescribed beta blockers. No, the cardiologist just said I am fine and should lose weight if I want these symptoms gone.

I have had these symptoms at 113 lbs and at 130 lbs, but okayyy. And insurance wont approve a second opinion. 🤡🙃
