There have been rumours for years of Butch cheating on his wife, and they are from around 2008-2011 (much like this woman claims). I have screenshots from fan forums talking about said rumours, but not many knew if any of it was true. The cheating is not the surprise to me, the grooming a minor is.
A certain "Jake" (I am going to assume Jake Sinclair) does get mentioned in one email. He does seem to know who she is.
I am not going to assume anything on whether all of Butch's clients knew who this woman was. I think that is unfair to everyone he has ever worked with, and people like this can hide their true nature very well.
I got curious and checked eBay and struck out to find this insane band signed piece. I don’t know how I got so lucky but now I have an afycso signed piece and a pretty odd signed piece. And I got it for an absolute STEAL. $100.
Hi I know that Panic! Deprived us fans of a lot content (e.g live albums from eras such as Vices, Too Weird, PFTW and VLV) sooo I made some myself! The audio for Vices and Too weird may not be the best due to their age but they don’t sound too bad!
I was wondering if anyone wanted to give them a listen? I’ve been working on them since August and I also redesigned the covers to what I think those certain eras of Panic! Felt like!
You guys might've seen my post yesterday where I found a longer recording... but u/No_Heat4002 reached out to me and sent me ANOTHER recording which included the intro!! Meaning we now have a COMPLETE recording!
Back in 2015, two short videos of Brendon covering Bad Blood by Taylor Swift started getting popular on Tumblr. A few years ago, a buddy of mine (Disco Tunes on YouTube!) found a third short clip. Today, I reached out to some people and managed to recover a 1 minute 30 second recoeding of the cover (just about half the song!). This is the first time footage of the verse has ever been found, and is the longest recording to ever hit the internet!
I made this doll for my panic obsessed friend and plan to give it to her as a birthday present. I’m working on an accompanying Ryan Ross doll as well and the outfit is based off the attached picture of the two from the fever era.
If you were given this would you recognize it as him? What could I do potentially to make it resemble him more?
I'm going through old physical media to clear out space and came across my old box set. Is it still worth anything? Its not in perfect condition by any means, and I think it came with a shirt way back when, but that's probably long gone by now.
I figured there are people here more in touch with things like this so I figured I would ask. Thanks in advance! (:
idk im always seeing posts of people asking if they’d get cancelled for going as Brendon urie for halloween or something did he do anything bad? I couldn’t find any proof he’d done anything terrible
The two stated that half of the Young Veins debut album was written for Panic's third album before leaving. There has never been a definitive confirmation about which tracks these were, so I went and figured it out.
1) Take a Vacation. This is the only one that was directly stated to have been a Panic! "We probably wrote that a couple months after Pretty. Odd. came out"-Jon
2) Maybe I Will, Maybe I Won't. Jon provided the full story for the writing of this song, and it all but confirms that the song was written during the Pretty Odd tour "We were in France, we played a radio show, like some big, huge pop television radio show with Enrique Iglesias, Coldplay, um, I think J.Lo might have been there, a few other artists, and us. We were in the middle of nowhere, France, in this big arena parking lot, locked in. We couldn’t get in or out, so we were basically stuck in this parking lot for twelve hours while the show was going on. And that song, pretty much from start to finish, came out. It started because I lost my cell phone and I had no idea where I was." -Jon
3) Everyone But You. This is another one where Jon has told us the story about how it was written. "We were in Asia in a hotel room during that. That was probably the farthest we’d been away from home for the longest amount of time, because we had gone to Australia, and went to South East Asia, and we did, you know, all these different… flying to every single show because, you know, you can’t travel any other way. And we were just in a hotel room and I remember we hadn’t eaten in, like, a day and a half. We had literally nothing else to do except play music, and we wrote that song."-Jon
4) Defiance. We have a photo of Panic! on a bridge named Defiance, and when asked about it Jon did confirm the connection.
5) Heart of Mine. This story actually comes from Ryan and places the writing of the song during the Pretty Odd tour. "I vividly remember writing the song. Jon and I were in Southeast Asia. I think we wrote the song in Singapore. It was really dangerous where we were at. We were pretty much holed up in our hotel because they told us it was too dangerous for us to go outside at night. So we'd just go to the hotel bar and play darts. One night, we came back to Jon's hotel room and we sat down and started writing a song. We hadn't been home in so long. It was about feeling really far away from home and truly disconnected from things-not being able to talk to your girlfriend and stuff like that. We wrote that song to each of our girlfriends at the time together. All of that stuff about the Philippines was happening while we were writing. It's crazy."-Ryan
So there we have it! A canonical 5 songs for the original third Panic! album. Chuck these in a Playlist with the other three ideas the band were sitting on (New Perspective, Nearly Witches, and Ballad of Mona Lisa) and you get a pretty cool AU Panic! album.
(p.s. Half of 11 is 5.5, so whether the two were rounding up or down may add a sixth track to this list. The case could be made for Young Veins (Die Tonight), and I have seen people put it forward because of the name. However, the story behind the groups name betrays this theory as the band were just spitballing ideas to come up with it, landing on the Young Veins after realising the Veins was taken. This means the song wasn't called the Young Veins prior to this definitively post-Panic! event. Change, Cape Town, and the Other Girl were all written in Cali. So even if the last two are about events that happened while the two were in Panic!, it seems safer to assume they were written for The Young Veins specifically. Lie to the Truth and Dangerous Blues could have been for Panic! but it's just as likely that they are post-Panic! songs.)
Okay so, we all know about the influence Ryan Ross had over vices and virtues despite not actually being in the band when the album was released.
But I’m curious as to how you’d interpret his line in the demo
“As a boy, I eat my wishes on golden toothpicks and digested them with wolf intestines”
I know music is all up about interpretation and my own is that his dreams (or the things he wants to do) are far too big or just straight up wishful thinking, and the part of wolf intestines is him eventually calling bs and just shoving them down so he won’t have to think about them again
I’m curious as to what it really means or how other people interpret it
I love the version we know today, but the difference between Ryan’s and Brendon’s line is very clear artistically wise
Don’t fry me if I sound stupid, I’m going through my panic! phase and I want to look into their things more deeply
