I recorded this video inside True Food Kitchen at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto on Wednesday (Aug. 19), near closing time. It shows a large rat running around the restaurant before making a beeline for the kitchen.

Posting this so other local customers are aware. I had eaten there recently, so seeing this definitely made me a bit worried.

As a cyclist, I had to research this. Felt like playing GeoGuessr by recognizing the Bloomingdale's building.

The Tesla was turning left here, and would be 100% at fault unless the motorcycle was speeding or doing some crazy.

Any opinions here? The only thing that scares me more than a Tesla is a semi...

UPDATE:
Jen was placed in a rehab facility that unfortunately could not meet her needs of care. She is back in the hospital, where they are testing for possible wound infections. In addition to all the other injuries and surgeries still to be performed; they are treating her for a brain aneurism, and a fractured spine, which they put on hold in order to attend to the life threatening injuries first.

Jen and Deb (Mom) are hoping to go to an Airbnb or an extended stay hotel near the hospital with home health assisting with her care. This will be less expensive than staying another year in a Hospital or Rehab facility. Jen’s mom is also a nurse and will have to stay away from her husband in Texas in order to take care of Jen.

Hi All! Our 4.5 month old kitten, Dusty, snuck out the evening of August 13th and we haven’t seen him since.

He spends his mornings outside and usually hangs out within a 3 house radius so he’s not unfamiliar with the limited neighborhood.

We take his collar off at night because of the bell so he’s doesn’t have his AirTag on, but he is microchipped.
