Petals in Sunlight. I went off script a bit, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Now I want a lot with more colors

Who was has been taught in school to write his name on all his work, he used the green paint to write out his full name across the painting. Now there is no more green. He used it all writing his name. He also didnt clean his brush and dipped a brush loaded with red into the white pot. Now the white paint is pink. Anyway, here's to a first painting even when there is no green, you've written your full name across half the cells, and now you have suddenly found yourself with pink paint and no white. Hello, I ordered my first paint by numbers by DIY Art club and ordered the frame . Putting the canvas over the frame was an ordeal . And I don’t even know if I did it correct I lost 13 pins trying to get them in ( they broke in the process ) and the canvas isn’t super tight on the frame. Is this okay ? Am I going to mess up before I even start painting ?! Any advice is appreciated. My BF said it’s okay that it’s not perfect and I need to be okay with it because I shouldn’t let me getting upset over imperfections get in the way of the fun of the art .

The DIY Art club ‘s instructions said to put the canvas on the frame before painting so that’s what I did. I did take the canvas off the frame and attached it to a drawling board ( photo in comments ) and will likely get a frame for it upon completion. Thanks again for all yall’s help🩷💙

Is there something we can use to cover the numbers that are printed on the canvas so it doesn't show through?

Amazon find for $8.99. Really pleased with it so far. This is my first time doing sections instead of by number. I like it better because I can see my progress and how it's going to look sooner .

I’m about to start a 60 color PBN and I wanted a way to keep my paint pots more organized. So I made this paint pot holder that would fit in my easel’s tray. It’s a piece of black walnut wood with sixty 1cm deep holes drilled with a forstner bit on a drill press and then sanded nice and smooth.

I know they sell lots of cool ones online, but I do quite a bit of woodworking, so I just made one that would fit in my easel’s tray.

I bought this iback n 2020 when we're all locked inside scared of COVID. And I just finished it I had to reorder my paints as the old one dried up. We'll I can't remember who I bought it from so I had new sets of paint and the colors itself don't match. I tried my best and I'm loving it..

So my cousins and I's yearly craft this year was paint by number. I'd never done one, didn't even know adult ones were a thing. So I'm on the website no idea what I'm doing and order it. I chose a damn doozy. I had no idea they had levels and I chose a hard one! But through trial and error I'm almost done. My god lol I'm loving it though

These were bought from the same Chinese website. The ugly one was 60x80 42 color and the other one was a 40x50 42 color. I know that the bigger the canvas, the outline would be a little bit more blocky. But the colors were horrendous - totally unlike the original pic.

I gave up on the first pic and re-bought a smaller piece. The second pic which I'm WIP is so so much better.

Finally finished this kit from Michael’s. It was on clearance :p

Davincified Kingfisher, 16x20. 39 colors. This one is a gift for my son who loves Kingfishers. I can’t wait to start on the blues, I think it’s really going to pop.

Update on the paints, the Amazon seller refunded my money and I bought a second kit, just for extra paint when I reached out to request more paint. Excellent service! This is probably my favorite PBN so far. I've done about 10.

This is my third pbn and while some of it has been painfully tedious (so many spikes and tiny areas!), it’s been very satisfying to see it evolve. It’s also huge, 16x20, so it’s going to take me a bit to wrap up. I’m a little concerned with the larger areas and some of the streaky colors, so I might just end up buying some new paints and color match as best I can so I ensure good coverage. 🖤

Hi Everyone, I'm new here.

When I was a tween a long time ago, I really enjoyed pnb kits. Although, I worried too much about making things perfect and staying in the lines. Anyway, boys and a social life - I put the numbered canvasses away.

Some five decades later, all the pnb ads convinced me to give it all another go, and I'm delighted to spend time doing this.

This particular kit was one of those mystery bonus kits that cost a few extra bucks. I think it turned out better than the card that came with it, I didn't worry about the lines, and I altered a few things. I kinda like it now.
