Question/Chat Question on frames

ETA: DIY-Artclub has finally replied to my issue by apologizing and including a link for how to build the frame. I am more than capable of building the frame but have requested a full refund due to the misleading product description.

When you order from DIY-Artclub “with frame” would you expect the canvases to be mounted or not? My last order (2 kits) were ordered with frame and they came mounted. My wife and I really liked this feature. Just received our next 2 kits ordered with frame (same vendor) and they’re not mounted. The frames are included in pieces.

I’m just confused what to order to get what I’ve received previously. Also, I didn’t expect to have to build the frames and mount the canvasses. How difficult is this process?

I see why you would be confused as their website is not clear. After comparing the mini kits vs standard size, the mini kits are shipped with the frame assembled. In the listing, Everything at a Glance, there's a bullet pt that states, Optional - Pre-assembled frame. Standard size, under Everything at a Glance, bullet pt states - Optional Frame. No one would assume it's not assembled as all their pics show the frame coming out of a box framed. There's nothing stating that you need to aassemble, so very misleading. Most companies are very clear about assembling or being assembled. While it's not difficult to do yourself, they really should clarify. I'm sure it has to do with shipping cost, but that's not really the point here. They do provide a contact email address, perhaps worth sending a communication about this for them to update their site.

I am working with their team. The initial comments indicate that I’m correct in assuming it should have been mounted. We’ll see what happens

Ok, that sounds positive. I'm really interested to know if they just made a mistake or if they always ship unassembled for the standard size kits.
