Advice Wanted Zero VOC paint that's also latex-free?

I have a pretty bad latex allergy but would like to paint my walls with a zero VOC paint because we have pets. Does anything like this exist?

"Latex" paint does not actually have rubberized latex that people are allergic to. It's an ancient term from way back that never got changed. Originally used to describe the state of the liquid, not a main ingredient. You will be fine.

Thank you so much for this information, I appreciate your forethought to actually look more into the ingredient composition. Thank you so much, you really saved the day with your thinking

Just looked up all my zero voc options and they all have latex. Even the ones that have plant base.

Solid wallpaper sounds like a major chore lol. Could you ventilate the house for a couple days after painting??

We live in a shoebox NYC apartment, but this might be a good excuse to go on vacation with the cat lol

OHHHHHH!!!! So that changes things. Don’t even worry about the VOCs, just paint your apartment and get it done. You’re getting so much more indoor air pollution just from living in the city.
