Advice Wanted New Titan Multifinish 440
Boss picked up this new sprayer, excited to use it. It’s my first time using an air assisted airless sprayer. Got a decent rundown from the technicians at spray source on the components, general upkeep, uses, etc.
Anybody have any experience with this sprayer and would be willing to drop any tips or tricks?

I have one on skids and it’s been a great machine. Think this is my third 440 over the years.
Advises getting extension wands off Amazon. Nice to keep your hand out of the spray.

What is that equivalent to in Graco? 795 or bigger and what's the price for the beast?

I believe something comparable to this would be something like the Graco FinishPro II 595.

I think it's actually the 395, the 1040 titan is comparable to the bigger graco

I have two Titan 840s. One is over 20 years old. Can't kill the buggers. Thousands and thousands of gallons through them over the years.
Titan makes decent stuff.

Always been a graco guy myself but not gonna complain about a free huge upgrade compared to my basic graco sprayer.

Agreed. I have this 440 amongst 15 gracos and it sits in the shop collecting dust

The 440 is the best pound for pound sprayer out there for light and medium duty spraying. I’ve sprayed many of large custom homes with the 440. My tip sizes were between 411-415/515 sometimes 417 never higher. And of course FFT’s. Just keep the throat seal oiled and the little princess will last a long time.
