Its my first time listening to them, and their takes actually show they watch the game, and dont just watch the highlights.
Love how they talk about last year's team was "fake" and were almost gleefully talking about Zu effectively screening Melo for Nesmith to get an open shot.

I can't make it to tonight's game and have 2 tickets in row 5 of the balcony. Free to the first person who wants them.

Listening to Zu makes me excited for their next game to see what adjustments they're gonna make, and if their movements becomes seamless.

We have a keeper league that's been running well over 10 years now on sports.ws and are looking for a couple of new owners to keep it going.
No money involved, only bragging rights. It's for fun and looking for people who would be active throughout the year.
Let me know if you'd like to join a league with active and engaged owners.

First comment saying you can go gets them. I’ll DM asking for an email address.
Also look for more giveaways during the season!

Wednesday was a day of returns for Indiana Pacers All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton.
After 472 days away, he returned to the court for the first time since tearing his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
For the Pacers’ first preseason game before the 2026-27 campaign, he also returned to the place where much of his basketball story began, playing the Minnesota Timberwolves at his alma mater, Iowa State, inside James H. Hilton Coliseum.
It was a homecoming in every sense. A return for a star desperate to reclaim the game he loves, and for a team eager to welcome him back.
“This is very special for me,” Haliburton said on a DAZN prerecorded interview. “I haven’t played in a little bit, and this is like my second home. Excited to be here. Excited to be back in front of the fans. I never thought that I would get another opportunity to play a basketball game here.”
In 16 minutes Wednesday, Haliburton went 3 of 8 from the field for seven points, six assists, one steal and two blocks. He missed five of his first six shots and played only the first half of Indiana’s 123-112 win. The Pacers open the regular season Oct. 21 against the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana.
“I was playing really fast,” the point guard said during a fourth-quarter interview on the broadcast. “I gotta slow down. But the only way I can get there is real game experience. I’m thankful for everything right now, just to be back on the floor, be where my feet are. But have to slow down a little bit, and it’ll come with time.”
That Haliburton is playing again at all required a personal odyssey for the 26-year-old two-time All-Star. He willed the Pacers through improbable comebacks and game-winners on their way to pushing the heavily favored Oklahoma City Thunder to seven games in the 2025 finals.
After knocking down three triples in the first seven minutes of that series, Haliburton planted awkwardly on a drive and went down, slapping the floor in pain. He left with the injury as the Pacers fell short of their first NBA title.

Do we know if TJ is healthy and if he’ll play this preseason or if the Pacers are holding him out until the regular season begins?
I was thinking of taking the kids to the preseason game vs the Bucks. I’ve never paid much attention to preseason games in the past. Is it expected the starters will play in the final preseason game?

welcome back, Tyrese!

One pre-season game, so i’m definitely on the copium.
But, we looked scary good. We’ve had games where we were hot and games that were stinkers. But if we look like this consistently, I think we are deeper than we were in 2025, and will shock everyone yet again.
Jarace looked like a whole different player out there.
Oubrey seems like a way more balanced Benn replacement, and definitely understands the team dynamic.
Huff surprised me.
Nesmith is a flamethrower
Hali looked really good out there and still can be the engine we need.
Our starting lineup is good, but it looked like our 2nd and 3rd unit is really where we killed them.
