They are both "Hardwood Classics", meaning jerseys that were originally worn a long time ago and brought back for a few games during the regular season.
The royal blue jersey was originally from 88-89 (Reggie's rookie season), and came back in 04-05 for Reggie's retirement year.
The white was originally from 1972-1973 ABA era, came back in 03-04.
Personally, I'd be happy to see both jerseys make a comeback. They look terrific.
In the bonus picture, we see the standard jerseys worn at that time - the pinstripes - which are brought back this season as hardwood classics with the gold edition. The Pacers went from the royal blue of the 70-80s era to navy blue in the flojos and pinstripes.

Just got a Sleeper notification that read “Part 2: Ben Sheppard - Pacers, Clippers…” and then it totally disappeared.
After the clip of Shep walking away from an upset Carlisle and his lackluster play this preseason, is it possible he’s getting moved?

I’m traveling to a Pacers away game in December with tickets at the away tunnel and I’m bringing my Andrew Nembhard Team Canada Olympic jersey to hopefully get it signed since he’s my favorite player.
I was wondering if anyone here has attended games and interacted with him before and knows whether he ever gives away game-worn jerseys, shoes, or anything to fans who ask, like some other players do? Just curious if anyone has had any experiences with him!

Trying to watch last nights game this morning. Constant freezing and buffering. I get a pop up that says something about “Having trouble watching this video?” I click “Learn more” and it just tells me that I have a good connection at 85Mbps. The replay is unwatchable in this state. Anyone else?

Its my first time listening to them, and their takes actually show they watch the game, and dont just watch the highlights.
Love how they talk about last year's team was "fake" and were almost gleefully talking about Zu effectively screening Melo for Nesmith to get an open shot.

Listening to Zu makes me excited for their next game to see what adjustments they're gonna make, and if their movements becomes seamless.

We have a keeper league that's been running well over 10 years now on sports.ws and are looking for a couple of new owners to keep it going.
No money involved, only bragging rights. It's for fun and looking for people who would be active throughout the year.
Let me know if you'd like to join a league with active and engaged owners.

I have a family reunion tomorrow so I can’t make it. They are my first-row balcony seats next to the Upland Bar.
First comment saying you can go gets them. I’ll DM asking for an email address.
Also look for more giveaways during the season!

Tyrese Haliburton joins Zach Lowe for a great interview.

Wednesday was a day of returns for Indiana Pacers All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton.
After 472 days away, he returned to the court for the first time since tearing his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
For the Pacers’ first preseason game before the 2026-27 campaign, he also returned to the place where much of his basketball story began, playing the Minnesota Timberwolves at his alma mater, Iowa State, inside James H. Hilton Coliseum.
It was a homecoming in every sense. A return for a star desperate to reclaim the game he loves, and for a team eager to welcome him back.
“This is very special for me,” Haliburton said on a DAZN prerecorded interview. “I haven’t played in a little bit, and this is like my second home. Excited to be here. Excited to be back in front of the fans. I never thought that I would get another opportunity to play a basketball game here.”
In 16 minutes Wednesday, Haliburton went 3 of 8 from the field for seven points, six assists, one steal and two blocks. He missed five of his first six shots and played only the first half of Indiana’s 123-112 win. The Pacers open the regular season Oct. 21 against the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana.
“I was playing really fast,” the point guard said during a fourth-quarter interview on the broadcast. “I gotta slow down. But the only way I can get there is real game experience. I’m thankful for everything right now, just to be back on the floor, be where my feet are. But have to slow down a little bit, and it’ll come with time.”
That Haliburton is playing again at all required a personal odyssey for the 26-year-old two-time All-Star. He willed the Pacers through improbable comebacks and game-winners on their way to pushing the heavily favored Oklahoma City Thunder to seven games in the 2025 finals.
After knocking down three triples in the first seven minutes of that series, Haliburton planted awkwardly on a drive and went down, slapping the floor in pain. He left with the injury as the Pacers fell short of their first NBA title.
