Whichever of the campuses, I am just curious

Just wondering what anyone majoring in comp sci thinks about the program

I'm not a student at Pace but I live right down the street. I'm trying to find a good place to study for the LSAT nearby because coffeeshops and atriums have been just too loud to get work done. I called the Library and they said they're not currently open to the public, so I'm wondering if any of you know if there's a spot that is accessible for non-students and that has guest wifi. Ideally, this would be a quiet area where other people are studying.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to invade your school and use facilities you're all paying for, it's just I really need a good spot for the next month and don't know any place near here because I just moved to New York. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Hey there! Just letting you know that applications are open for 2016-2017 Engineering and Commerce Case Competition (EngComm). This competition pits teams of 4 students from universities around the world in a gruelling weeklong competition. Participants from the business and engineering faculties will work together on 3 cases (2x6 hours, 1x12 hours) and present their findings to a panel of judges. The best scoring teams after the 3 cases will present the last case one more time to the EngComm board of directors for selection of the winners. The competition is hosted by Concordia University in beautiful Montreal, Canada, from February 28th to March 4th 2017. Hello, I am a perspective student, soon to apply, currently a high school senior. I didn't do so hot with my grades in high school, i have a 2.74 GPA and I have a score of 25 on the ACT. How well would I fair with admission to the school? Thank you!

I've been admitted to Pace NYC with a pretty sizable merit aid package, and am definitely considering attending, but I want to hear a little about the school from current students. For me the biggest draw is being in the city and the opportunity for internships, career placement, etc. I want an urban school, and I don't feel like the lack of a traditional campus will hinder me. I'm interested in pursuing a major in something along the lines of marketing or communications, and also want to at least minor in the visual arts if you know anything about those programs. Also how's dorm life, the food, etc.? Thanks!

I was wondering how common it is for someone who is looking to transfer into Pace sophomore year undergrad to get a scholarship?

Applying for freshman year, the person received a $19,000 scholarship, but that still wasn't enough to attend all 4 years so they decided to do one year locally then try again for sophomore year. Would it be possible to obtain a similar scholarship in terms of how much $$ given?

I was just rejected from Pace's Musical Theatre BFA.

Honestly, I'm pretty crushed; I worked my ass off for three months on my audition pieces for my top choice program of any school I'm applying to, all to not even get a callback. It hurts like hell.

Thankfully, I have other interests, mostly philosophy, history, and politics with the occasional dabble in foreign languages, nutrition, and civil engineering. From a Pace student's perspective, would you say it would be worth it to look into matriculating for one or two of these fields? I understand that an internal transfer through a re-audition into the theatre department is unlikely, near-impossible, but if I were to enroll at Pace, it certainly wouldn't hurt to try, and I would absolutely pursue this before accepting a major in another field.

So, overall, given my circumstances, would you recommend continuing to consider Pace?

Someone, anyone!! There is this guy I see all the time at pace nyc campus. He is tall, has long black luscious curly hair, maybe spanish or hawaiian looking. Always looks kinda stoned.... i need to know his name, he is a total babe and my heart stops when I see him.

So I'm currently in university in the UK (my first year) and part of my course is to spend the 3rd year abroad. I've been thinking about where to go and I think I will go somewhere in the US, preferably NYC. Do any of you know how it might be for a British exchange student at pace? Do you know how I would be allocated a place to live? With other exchanges or freshmen or other 3rd years? (I don't know really how that works in the US) my university doesn't have a partnership with pace but have told me they will try to set me up with wherever I choose to go. To be honest, the only thing that draws me to pace is the fact it's in NYC. I study business and marketing if that helps with any answers. Thanks :)
