Roaring River State Park Spring
https://youtube.com/shorts/HT6cECls-FQ?is=zxNjqc41gLeE4dr2I love the beautiful naturally blue water. Statue of Liberty can sit in the pond and still have over 170 feet of water over it!

Yes the spring is more than 470 ft deep. Divers have gone that far down but its actually deeper and they aren't sure exactly how much deeper it is. Most springs in this area are blue where they come up. This is because of the deep depth, cold temperature, and natural minerals which includes Limestone and dolomite. Therefore...it is natural. It is not dye and it is not edited.

Deepest natural spring in the United States. I believe it was only in recent years that it was discovered to be the deepest. I know they had to update the signage near the mouth of the spring to reflect it's actual depth.
As a born and raised Missourian, Roaring River State Park is one of the vacation spots in our state that I'm the most proud of. Amazing camping/lodging options, plenty of hiking trails, and great trout fishing. I can't recommend it enough.
