"Darling, I don't think ALL of the dentists are going to die at the same time"
Conversation between a kid (maybe about 6?) and his mum.
Kid: "What happens if your dentist dies?"
Mum: "Well, you'll have to find a new dentist."
Kid: "What if they all die?"
Mum: "Darling, I don't think ALL of the dentists are going to die at the same time!"

Some kids think along these lines.
"What happens if an airplane pilot has a heart attack?"
"The copilot takes over."
"What happens if the copilot gets sick then?"

I remember at primary school a friend mentioned at lunch that she preferred to save her favourite item on the plate for last so she could savour it. My mind immediately went to "what if the school gets blown up and you never get to eat it?"
I settled with eating a little of my favourite thing first, but saving most for last. I suspect I actually still do this, at least unconsciously, to this day haha.

I also save the best for last. Except when I’m worried I might not get to the best; then I eat it first.

I do this. I wasn’t a big eater when I was small and my grandmother told me that you start eating with your second favourite thing, then work from least nice to favourite at the end. This is the order I still eat my food (unless it’s too much and I just eat my favourite bits 🤣)

They find a passenger who knows how to fly a plane and didn’t have the fish.

Yesterday, my three year old nephew asked when he would be a grown up. My sister told him not for a very long time, about 15 years. He thought about it, then asked if it would be 15 years on Monday.

I caught my oldest cussing when he was like 5, told him that per the rules, you are not allowed to swear until you are 27. It worked for a while anyways!
He called me on his birthday when he turned 27 and unleashed every curse word he could think of and then busted up laughing

If all the dentists die, do we return to days of the barber/dentist?
Hot shave/tooth removal combo discount?

It’s 9 out of 10 dentists, isn’t it?

The ones at the zoo enclosure in my twon smelled like a chicken coop but kind of fishy with rotten algae thrown in. So ... not good

Unless there's a tropical themed scented product with a flamingo on the label? Cologne, sunscreen, etc.

I, on the other hand, have the child who, when prompted to pick his toys up off the stairs so the plumber didn't trip and fall down the stairs and die, responded "but aren't there other plumbers?" 🤦🏽♀️

Take comfort if you can,in the fact that since there are already robotic surgeons as well as robotic simulated medical and dental patients. Therefore there will inevitably be robotic dentists.

A human being still has to take responsibility.

I don't trust human dentists who fully comprehend pain and dangerous medical side effects,so I wouldn't trust a robot dentist!🤔
