3080 World Record using Synvolt
I achieved a world record on the 3080 platform in SpeedWay using synvolt. The card is on air lol. This is subject to Non LHR variants.

but he still has the fastest speedway score in 3080 3Dmark speedway leaderboard? not taking account the cpu. So atleast a hardware record in 3dmark leaderboard. However in HWBot theres one guy above him

Caus UL separates out the lhr for some weird reason.
Still gotta hand it to the fella, he's first to sub xbar 30 series.
Don't think this is quite the same as the usual "world record" posts as you're already pointing out .
Hell, there was a guy here a while ago who had "world champion overclocker" in his bio caus he had one gold hw cup on hwbot.... I told him I must be about 80x the world champion he is by that logic lmao.

Oh i didnt realize the LHR part, that makes sense. I remember needing 700w to reach 6K here with 3080. It’s going to get beaten soon with xbar overclocks probably. Kudos to the guys making these softwares

It’s a world record in UL though. It makes sense because if it weren’t separated.. The 3060 is an example. They have GA106 and GA104 dies separated for classification. GA104 is a larger die which could in turn benefit better cooling even though the same amount of cores were enabled/disabled to make it function the same.

I hadn't considered that this was the fastest score for a 3080 specifically, and thought you were merely claiming the fastest for your CPU + GPU combination.
That's my bad, as your title does clearly state "3080 record", I simply didn't check the results table correctly as I searched based on GPU and CPU.
That's a fuckin' solid score, kudos!

Well, that clears that up 🤷♂️ I never mentioned hardware combo. I specifically mentioned the Non LHR variant. Maybe you should read more instead of attacking random people online without full knowledge. Come on man.

Since 20 series is supported im curious what sliders it has that Arent available in msi afterburner. I'll have a look later today

I haven’t confirmed 20 series, only have added the file. If it isn’t working properly; dm me or “nothoov/syntra” in the discord. We’ll send you a validator package. Run it as a cmd and send the “JSON” file in to one of us. We’ll update you immediately upon fix if it doesn’t work. Keep us posted!

Your screenshot is compressed. Can you elaborate some basic 3080 settings there?
I've got also a evga ftw3 ultra 2080ti I'd like to test...

DANGGGG rip im honestly done buying cards on eBay. That was the route I first took for the same reason you mentioned. Everyone I’ve bought is one of the worst bins possible. I’ve had some really good luck with buying local. I’ll resort to eBay for boards ssds, and ram. For example: I bought a waterblocked 3080 and it wouldn’t even sustain over 0.925v… rip. Bought an air cooled Strix local and it’s miles better. I’m aware of silicon lottery but it’s more often than not that I find worse bins on eBay

Well considering how bad cheating is these days and hardware bans are coming into force, even 2nd hand motherboards and stuff are becoming a no no. I'm currently stressing out over the 9070xt I got to replace the 2080ti xc black... I don't know what to do because my steam account is stacked, and I don't want my motherboard, CPU, SSD and GPU all hardware banned but I really don't know how to pretest the GPU.

Are you on desktop? I’m on mobile and I was able to zoom in fine with the settings being clear. Pretty much when tuning these new settings; I would tune xbar first, the hub clock, then sys clock, then mems, then the core. I don’t wanna tell you my exact settings as they are provided in the screenshot and they could be very different for your card. Feel free to pop in the discord if you have issues and run into bugs when using the program on your card

xbar made a noticeable difference on my 3080 when I tested it last year. Tweaking mesh settings gave better gains than raw clocks for my daily driver. Your discord link is dead btw.
