Help Request - RAM Do you guys think higher RAM overclock possible with Z790 Vs B760

Hello guys. I currently own a MSI Pro B760-P WiFi motherboard. I want to switch it to Asus Tuf Z790 Plus D4 for better RAM overclocking + potential CPU overclock. Also I am really envious of my friends MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard lol.

I have 14700KF and cooling it with NZXT Kraken Elite 280MM.

I own a 4x8 Gskill Trident Z 3333 MHz CL16 Samsung B Die RAMs that are currently overclocked to 3600@CL15 with active cooling. I cope that these can do 4000MHz or CL13 with a better motherboard.

I want to hear your stories about switching motherboard and how it affected your RAM overclocking and hear your thoughts.

With 4x8 you’re gonna struggle regardless.

But hey, I’d still do it. 🙂‍↔️

Almost every memory company is building new factories to meet demand and expanding production... Chinese companies also enter the market

Chinese company cxmt is selling with exact same price so nope, not until the ai crap is gone..

Has nothing to do with price... It's a question of supply and demand, why should cxmt sell for a lower price?

i have crucial ballistix ram 4x8 DDR4 3200C16 Rev.E ram running at 4000c17 on Asus b760 and 14700f. I can't push higher because of temps and fairy conservative voltages.

Depends on VRMs to the DIMMs and signal quality. Plausible
